Travis Michael Deters, 3 months old, son of Thomas Deters, Seneca, was pronounced dead on Saturday morning, May 3, 1997, at the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in Seneca. His death was due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

He and his twin brother, Devin, were born prematurely January 28, 1997, at Lincoln, NE. His mother, Deborah Deters, died January 28, 1997, following their birth. Travis and his brother were released from the hospital on March 6, 1997. He was hospitalized or two weeks with pneumonia on April 1. He was now living at home in apparent good health.
