Joel worked 23 years as an automotive machinist at "Auto Parts & Machine Co." He was known as one of the 2 best automotive machinists in Oklahoma City. He did auto mechanic work for extra money at first, then mostly free for friends. He would work in his garage more than 4 evenings per week. He then worked as a (machine) fabricator for Fife Corporation about 20 years. Again, he was known for his excellent craftsmanship and high output. He was a very kind man who very frequently helped friends, his church, and strangers. He won the confidence of many people.
First wife Naomi - 3 children, lived on S. 2nd. St., 4400 N. Peniel, & 4802 N. Asbury, all in Bethany, OK
2nd wife - Jo-Ann - waitress - short marriage on rebound from first marriage
3rd. wife Sarah Pascoe (married name) - Never recovered from grief over death of first husband. She may have married Joel for emotional & financial support. They lived in Moore, OK.
